SolarAid is an international charity, founded in 2006 to combat poverty and climate change. Solar Aid provides people with access to solar lights in Uganda, Malawi and Zambia to help catalyse solar markets and eradicate the kerosene lamp. Working along side Solar aid and Sunny Money we are proud to open this opportunity of solar light to the community.
Undergarments and personal hygiene items are essential needs for all humans. However, these basics are among the most inconsistently provided items during migration crises due to worldwide cultural taboos. The Unmentionables exists to fill this gap and provide these basic necessities to displaced persons.
The items and services provided by the Unmentionables include undergarments, feminine and intimate hygiene products, sexual health products, and family-planning related education. These products and programs have the ability to empower and protect refugees from disease, infection, sexual and gender-based violence, and help provide confidence to to engage in community life
Mayamiko is proud to support The Unmentionables by making reusable sanitary kits that have been part crafted with scrap fabric from the Mayamiko workshop.

Platform of Fashion Schools
The association was born in Milan on the 18th February 2008. It brings together Italian institutes, academies and universities that provide full or partial education in the fashion field. All partner schools have a strong heritage of Italian culture, history and industry; they play an essential role in developing innovation, creating new talents and providing means to match education up to the market needs.
Its basic goals are the assertion of the identity of the fashion education system in Italy, the promotion of excellence and the support of an open and constant exchange between school and industry, also in relation to excellent education systems at an international level. The Platform also supports the education of deserving students through a scholarships system and helps foreign student in their approach to the professional world.
The Platform has been supporting and promoting Mayamiko since its inception with a series of projects and initiatives in collaboration with Milan fashion colleges, to push the boundaries of ethical fashion while supporting our objective to change lives for good. www.piattaformamoda.it/en/
