MAYAMIKO FASHION LAB
At the beginning of our journey we decided to establish a fashion workshop in Lilongwe, Malawi. We saw this project as a way to teach people transferable skills and open a door for fashion designers and brands looking to take an ethical and sustainable approach to their businesses.

MAYAMIKO THE LABELIn 2012 we decided to launch Mayamiko The Label. A contemporary woman’s wear brand inspired by african prints, with ethical trading and sustainability at it’s core. Many graduates from our fashion lab now work with Mayamiko the label and benefit from our workshop policies.
